Star Energy has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Wada in the vicinity of Mumbai, commercial capital of India, to manufacture (Both Dry as well as Oil Immersed) Distribution & Power Transformers range upto 150 MVA, 220 kV class. Mumbai is well connected both domestic as well international markets. The Plant is also an Export Oriented Unit and accordingly embraced the latest state of technology, to ensure strict adherence to stringent international manufacturing and process norms.
The manufacturing facility is around 50,000 Sq. Feet built up area spread over four Acres; approx 160,000 Sq Ft of total factory area. The well developed manufacturing facilities are designed & equipped with most modern machines and equipment that can manage the most rigorous designs for any transformer in the product line. The manufacturing facility is equipped with sophisticated manufacturing equipments like Foil Winding Machine, Horizontal Winding Machine, Vapour Phase Plant, Oil Filtration Plant, 100 Ton Cranes and well equipped Testing Lab for fast & efficient production.

Star Energy Ltd has the most updated & advanced design software for design calculation & validation with the help of which optimized design calculations are made in-house to ensure high standard of products, quality and reliability in service. Our design software complies with 220 kV class to match with the latest trend in the industry. Moreover, latest version of the drawing software is used to prepare the drawings required for shop floor use and submission.
We have in-house team of Design Engineers, who have more than two decades of experience in designing all types of transformers. Our engineers are committed to product research and development, innovating new project concepts that keep products above customer expectations. In addition, Star Energy use the most modern technical tools available in the market that allow engineering team to apply specific requirements for each individual transformer.
